NEW DELHI : Sluggish demand pulled down nickel prices by 0.57 percent here at the wholesale metals market on Monday.
Nickel fell at Rs 967 per kg, down 0.57 per cent, with a business volume of 890 kg on the Multi-Commodity Exchange. The metal for July contract lost 0.51 per cent to Rs 980 per kg with a business volume of 156 kg.
Analysts said, the report of rising trend at the London Metal Exchange failed to lift the market, At the LME, nickel inventories decreased by 84 metric tonne to 46,860 metric tonne.
