Scrap Metal Prices Drop in Jiangsu, China
Scrap prices drop in Jiangsu, China
Scrap purchasing price in Jiangsu province China has started falling as two mills have dropped their buying price by up to RMB100/ton.
Scrap distributors from the region are frustrated, having experienced some losses since scrap prices started climbing at the beginning of 2008.
Domestic inflation and rising prices of raw materials, including the hiking of pig iron price which was dragged along by coke and iron ore, have also had a great impact.
