Russia to up its scrap export price
Russian Federal Customs Service ups the export price of scrap to US$510/mt FOB. Also, the latest 15 percent of export duty has increased to US$76.5/mt accordingly after price rise.

This action is generally regarded as the government’s provisional measure to reduce its scrap export. In order to support the action, the Russian government is planning to raise the scrap export duty as well.

However, the new export duty on scrap is still uncertain, reportedly announced to be soared by eight times as high as previous export duty.
