America’s scrap export price to China settles at $220/ton – It is reported that Portland-based Schnitzer Steel has exported two containers of H1 scrap, from Portland Oregon and Oregon to China, at FOB US$180/ton.

The price is settled at C&F US$220/ton. It is said that China has purchased around 180,000~200,000 tons of scrap from America. In addition, India, Vietnam and Indonesia’s buyers are going to resume their purchases.

At the same time, China’s H2 domestic steel scrap price has fallen to RMB1,400 /ton, and that of P&S scrap is RMB1,700/ton.
