European Scrap Metal Prices Drop

European scrap price drops – European carbon steel scrap price slid in line with the dropping global steel price.
Turkey and India have resumed purchases because they think that the price has hit the lowest level and is set to rebound within a small range.
Turkey has bought 10-15 vessels’ cargoes of HMS scrap (80:20) at US$135~150/ton from Europe and the USA.
