Steel, Iron and HMS Scrap Metal Prices New Low in USA
US H1 scrap prices hit low –
On November 3, the average price of H1 scrap in Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Philadelphia dropped by US$63.33/ton to US$97.50/long ton, reaching a new low from 2003. The price of No.2 bundle scrap was US$102.00/long ton, down by US$37.50/long ton.
Among them, the average price of H1 scrap in Pittsburgh was US$104.50/long ton, decreased by US$90/long ton; in Chicago was US$89.50/long ton, down by US$80/long ton; in Philadelphia was 98.50/long ton, decreased by US$20/long ton than the previous week.
In east coast, the average price of H1 scrap in New York, Boston, and Huston was US$92.83/long ton, down by US$70/long ton from last week.
