The stainless steel 304 price in China market has increased to more than RMB 20,000/ ton from RMB 18500/ton earlier a week. as reported by WorldScrap- LME copper was closed at $6,817 yesterday, down $208 as the warehouse stocks added 475 tons to 432,075 tons. SHFE copper contract 1002 slumped 1,550RMB/T and ended at 53,500RMB/T. The Taiwan’s import price of H1 and H2 scrap was about US$295~300/ton currently as reported by www.yieh.com .
However, because Taiwan’s order quantities are so small that buyers cannot but accept offering price of Japanese supplier. Meanwhile, it’s said that earlier a Taiwan buyer purchased H2 scrap from Japan at US$315/ton c&f.
