Feng Hsin to keep rebar, scrap purchasing price unchanged

Taiwan’s Feng Hsin has announced to keep its rebar and scrap purchasing price unchanged this week.

The company hiked its rebar and scrap purchasing price by NT$200/ton in last week. The rebar price will be at NT$16,600/ton and its scrap purchasing price is NT$10,600/ton. However, Feng Hsin has cancelled the NT$300/ton discount for the purchasing quantity more than 25 tons orders.

Quintain Steel raises wire rod price

Taiwan’s Quintain Steel raised its December prices for Al-killed steel and Rimmed-steel wire rod by NT$500/ton. The company also increased its Killed steel wire rod price by NT$300/ton. Market analyst said the market price of wire rod is expected to keep steady in the next two weeks.
