Nickel price tops $18000 per ton
on December 24th, 2009 at 2:31 pmAlthough nickel price on the LME dropped by US$200/ton on December 22, it rebounded immediately and reached US$18,000/ton yesterday.
Since the second half of December, nickel price enjoyed a pick-up all the way up.
Market participants hoped that the increasing nickel price would stimulate the requirement from the end-users. If the nickel price keeps going up, Taiwan’s Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco) and Tang Eng will probably lift their price for next January.
