During the fourth week of January, Japanese H2 scrap average price in the Kanto region, Middle part and Kansai region was¥27,188/ton, up by ¥856/ton than the previous week.

Taiwan’s Feng Hsin Iron & Steel has announced to cut rebar price again today in line with weak scrap price, according to www.yieh.com
The company is cutting rebar price from NT$18,500/ton to NT$18,200/ton, and the scrap purchasing price also reduced from NT$11,800~12,300/ton to NT$11,500~12,000/ton.
