Taiwan Stainless Steel Prices Update May 31

Affected by the plummeting nickel price, Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco) announced to cut the stainless steel domestic price and exported price by NT$1,000-4,500/ton and US$80-150/ton for June, respectively.
Yusco decided to decrease the domestic price for 300 series and 400 series by NT$4,500/ton and NT$1,000/ton for June respectively.
Tang Eng also announced to cut the stainless steel price for June and its price cut is almost the same as Yusco’s.
