Scrap Metal Prices

AK Steel has informed its customers about the increase of surcharge by US$350/ton for electrical steel products. It will be effective on the invoices shipped in October 2010. AK Steel’s surcharges are calculated by the reported prices for raw materials as well as energy which are used to manufacture the products. The purchasing cost in August 2010 was determined to the surcharges of October 2010.
