Steel Price Rebounds on Recovery in Construction Demand September 6 2010

Steel price started moving upward as the fourth quarter is approaching, which is the high season for construction market.

Demands on long products, such as wire rod and rebar, are relatively strong than that on steel flat.

Lately, the domestic rebar price has rebound by 3.25 percent to RMB4099/ton from previous one.

Besides, decrease in stock in August will help to stabilize the rebar price.
