Scrap Plastics Market Prices

HDPE
Today, domestic HDPE scrap quotations saw a little hike with tight supply. With more positive attitude, traders made active shipment. But the downstream demand was normal. As a whole, the trade situation was stable. Latest price: HDPE hollow shred about 6,500 RMB/ton.

PVC
Today, market situation of PVC scrap in China was sluggish. With weak demand from downstream plants, PVC spot market saw a narrow hike of 50 RMB around. The watching attitude was still prevalent. Futhermore, downstream users mainly bought on demand. Influenced by futures market, traders were more active. It’s estimated that PVC prices will remain its shaking trend. Latest price: PVC waste silk 2,600-3,000 RMB/ton.

PET
Today, domestic quotations of PVC scrap had several ups within main stability. In spot market, supply was steady of bottle flakes and regrind largely. Good holders made cautious operations while purchasers mainly procured on demand. Latest price: PET white non- woven fabrics in bale 6,300-6,900 RMB/ton.

EPS
Today, market performance of EPS scrap was unfavorable with contiously weak demand. Due to the gloomy prospect of the market, traders had the intention to undersell goods while buyers mainly held the watching attitude, thus leading to a sluggish trade situation. Latest prices: EPS hot melting lumps 4,800-7,500 RMB/ton.

PC
Today, domestic PC scrap market suffered a common trading day. Goods holders sold at high prices. In the downstream, buyers had an obvious demand of high quality goods and made active inquiries. By and large, the trade situation was lackluster. Latest price: PC auto headlamp shred (light gray) 13,600 RMB/ton around.

PA
Today, domestic situation of PA 66 was calm with stable market quotations. Though the market supply was sufficient, downstream demand was insipid. In general, the trade sentiment was negative with limited trade volume. Latest price: PA 66 nozzle products 23,100-23,300 RMB/ton around.
