Metal Bulletin reports – Ferrous scrap prices in the UK domestic market are likely to fall in February as export prices have softened for most of January.
In other news:
The scrap price drops about US$20~30/ton after the global scrap market keeps rebounding for last two months.
The scrap price in Japan firstly declined around US$30/ton since mid-January, affected by the Chinese New Year holiday.
As the weak market of finished products, the sluggish procurement in the Turkish scrap market makes European scrap prices down. So far, the scrap price in South Europe has decreased by €10/ton.
