USA Scrap Metal Recycling Prices Rebound From Last Week

US scrap prices rebound –

The global scrap prices have shot up since last week. US’s scrap price also started to climb after previous fall.

In US market, No.1 scrap has lifted slightly by US$8.4/ton to US$506.7/ton on July 4.

Scrap prices remain unchanged for Chicago and Pittsburg at US$495/ton and US$500/ton respectively while price up by US$25/ton in Philadelphia.

United States (USA) Scrap Metal Prices Down This Week

On June 9, the average price of H1 scrap in Pittsburgh, Chicago and Philadelphia was at US$498.50/long ton, decreased by US$15.67/long ton from last week.

Price of bundle scrap was at US$434.50/long ton on average, down by US$27.50/long ton.

The average price of H1 in Pittsburgh was at US$499.50/long ton; in Chicago was at 487.50/long ton; in Philadelphia was at 508.50/long ton.

In Eastern coast, the average price of H1 scrap in New York, Boston and Huston was at US$454.50/long ton, dropped by US$20/long ton compared with last week. In western coast, the average price of H1 scrap was remained unchanged at US$214.33/long ton from the previous week.
